Dallas, TX, November 23, 2021 - Kings III Emergency Communications, a privately-owned emergency help phone-monitoring company based in Coppell, was honored to be recognized by its employees and The Dallas Morning News by making the daily newspaper’s Top 100 Places to Work list, falling in at 17th in the midsize companies category, jumping from its 26th standing in the previous year.
In order to enter for consideration, a company must have at least 50 local employees in any of the following counties: Dallas, Tarrant, Denton, Collin, Ellis, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Rockwall, Wise. Someone (inside or outside of the business) must nominate the company. From there, the company’s employees are sent a survey with 21 statements they must rank on a 7-point scale, distributed between “strongly disagree” and “strongly agree,” along with answering how important each statement is to them. From there, each company is broken into size bands, and the highest-scoring companies in each size band are chosen for the list. Learn more here.

Katie Thomas, VP of Marketing at Kings III, weighs in on what she thinks makes Kings III a standout company worthy of the list:
"For me, it’s the people that make (or break) the place and at Kings III, we’re no different. At the end of the day, companies are simply a collection of people working towards a common goal and it’s the people here who really matter. We are fortunate to have great tenure on our team and to be onboarding so many valuable new additions as we continue to grow, both in easier years and in those more trying. What’s most important is that we work hard to grow the right way, continuing to live our values, not just in how we work with our customers and our callers, but also with each other. We couldn’t be prouder of the team we have here or the work we’re doing together."
