Dallas, TX, November 30, 2022 - Kings III Emergency Communications, a privately-owned emergency help phone-monitoring company based in Coppell, was honored to be recognized by its employees and The Dallas Morning News by making the daily newspaper’s Top 100 Places to Work list for the 3rd year in a row, falling in at 28th in the midsize companies category.
In order to enter for consideration, a company must have at least 50 local employees in any of the following counties: Dallas, Tarrant, Denton, Collin, Ellis, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Rockwall, Wise. Someone (inside or outside of the business) must nominate the company. From there, the company’s employees are sent a survey with 21 statements they must rank on a 7-point scale, distributed between “strongly disagree” and “strongly agree,” along with answering how important each statement is to them. From there, each company is broken into size bands, and the highest-scoring companies in each size band are chosen for the list. Learn more here.
Kings III solidified its 28th spot in the list by ranking in the top 5% of the following culture drivers (as defined by The Dallas Morning News’ standards):
- Clued-In Employees- Team members feel well-informed about important decisions.
- Trusted Leader- Employees have confidence in the leader of Kings III Emergency Communications

Tenisia Kautai, Human Resources Manager, weighs in on what she thinks makes Kings III a standout company worthy of the list:
"One thing I like to ask new hires during orientation is if they've ever heard of Kings III prior to joining the company and 9 times out of 10, the answer is no. I always respond by letting them know they've found a hidden gem (of a company here at Kings III). Starting at a new company may make some people nervous at first, but we do an impeccable job of making everyone feel welcome and included from day one. We start strong with the new hire orientation, move on to a thorough office tour, and even host a Meet the Execs meeting, allowing the opportunity for all incoming new hires to get to know our executive leadership team, and in turn, introduce themselves. This meeting is one of the factors that separated Kings III from any other company for which I've worked. The people here are nothing short of amazing and are always willing to do what it takes to ensure our company's success. Teamwork makes the dream work, and I am proud and grateful to be a part of the Kings III team!"
